Working Together

Following multiple meetings with Boca Lago residents and community leadership, Lennar has significantly modified its original development plan. The changes reflect a direct response to neighborhood feedback and requests.
 
Each of the following changes represents Lennar’s commitment to listening to community concerns and ensuring the project aligns more closely with the character, scale, and expectations of Boca Lago’s existing neighborhoods.

Reduction in total number of homes

The total number of homes has been reduced from the original plan of 762 homes down to 463 homes. This is a reduction of nearly 40%, or 299 homes.

Complete elimination of all buildings over two stories

In response to community feedback, Lennar has completely eliminated ALL buildings over two stories. This change removes all 22 previously proposed three/four-story buildings.

Increase of open green space along Boca Lago Blvd.

Homes have been significantly set back from Boca Lago Blvd., open space has been added to the Club entry, and a fairway has been preserved. New, expansive open views have been created.

Preserving the courts

The new plan completely eliminates homes near the Tennis Center. This preserves 17 courts.

Reduction in homes along Boca Lago Blvd.

The number of homes specifically along Boca Lago Blvd. has been cut from 360 to 161. This is a reduction of 55%, or 199 homes.

New Neighborhood Signage

Lennar has offered to construct new entry monuments at the community entrance on the east side of Lyons Road at Boca Lago Blvd. as well as leading to the Clubhouse. Creates a true sense of place identity similar to newer Lyons Road communities.
